BRANDON INTO THE RUNS

Under 12 player Brandon Thomas scored his first runs for the club in style. Brandon made 20 not out against Melton West Saints Green, coming into bat at 7 for 82 and in a series of good partnerships helped the team to a competitive 148. Fantastic effort Brandon.

DAVID IMPROVES ON HIS CAREER HIGH

Under 12 batsman, David Szabo who scored double figures for the first time in Round 1 has improved on that score of 11 not out, making 13 against Melton West Saints Green. Congratulations David.

AMAR HAS FANTASTIC WEEKEND WITH THE BAT

Amar Singh had a terrific weekend of cricket. On Saturday morning he made 27 runs in the Under 14's and then went one step better on Sunday in the Under 16's making 50 not out. Amar's innings on Sunday was one of the most impressive I have seen in a long time. Great stuff Amar.

JUSTIN EXCEEDS HIS MOTHER'S INSTRUCTIONS

As Under 16 player, Justin White, went out to bat his mother told him to make double figures. Justin did this and more, making an aggressive 31 runs, which included 5 boundaries. Well done Justin.

BRANDON GETS WICKETS ON DEBUT

New Under 12 player, Brandon Thomas had an excellent start to his career with Melton South taking 2 for 8 from 4 excellent overs in the Under 12 clash with Melton Centrals. Congratulations Brandon.
